Call for Sites Including Brownfield Land Register
In January 2018 the Council issued a Call for Sites inviting landowners, agents and developers to put forward sites for potential development, including sites for the Brownfield Land Register and Local Green Spaces. Following this, in December 2018, the 2018 Strategic Housing and Employment Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA) and subsequently the 2019 Supplementary Report were published, which forms part of the evidence base for the Stafford Borough Local Plan 2020-2040.
Since publication of the SHELAA Updates in 2021 and 2022, further sites have been put forward, which will be presented within the SHELAA 2023 Update shortly.
Please note: Stafford Borough Council are currently accepting new sites for inclusion in the SHELAA 2023 Update which will be considered through the Local Plan process.
Sites submitted before 5.00pm on Friday 29 September will be included in the 2023 Update. Any site submitted after this date will be included in the next update of the SHELAA which will be published in 2024.
