    Profile

    I am a Staffordshire man born and bred, growing up in Burton-on-Trent and living most of my life in the County.  I am an engineer by background working in the food & drink industry since the 1980’s.

    I have lived in Great Haywood since 2005 serving on Colwich Parish Council from 2010 and as Parish Council Chairman since 2015.  I stepped down from Colwich Parish Council in order to stand for the Borough election in 2019.

    During this time, I was instrumental in the development and submission of the Colwich Neighbourhood Plan, helped to revitalise the local Twinning Association and have been part of launching what is believed to be the first Youth Council in Staffordshire, helping to introduce and encourage youngsters from 11 to 18 years into local politics.

    I am a keen walker and my wife & I enjoy making the most of our fantastic British countryside.  I am a Lay Reader with the Church of England for the Mid-Trent Benefice and a keen Morris Dancer with the Stafford Morris Men!
