Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Needs Assessment 

A Gypsy and Traveller Accommodation Needs Assessment commissioned by the Council and 3 of its neighbours in 2015 provides a comprehensive
accommodation assessment of the housing needs of Gypsy and Travellers residing in Stafford Borough.

The report follows guidance from the Government that aims to give the Gypsy and Travelling community access to decent living conditions and forms an integral part of the evidence base for the Local Plan, known as ‘The Plan for Stafford Borough’. 

There are a number of Gypsy and Traveller sites in Stafford including a site at Glover Street which is owned and managed by the Borough Council.
